Sales Page/Link Cloaking Template
The Ultimate Sales-Cloaker Template is two templates in one. It’s a link redirect/cloaking template, and it also acts as an easily customizable sales page template.
How it works as a link cloaking machine:
There are two ways that the Ultimate Sales-Cloaker Template cloaks affiliate links. The first method is by using a simple redirect. When a visitor clicks on the link to the page or post using the Ultimate Sales-Cloaker Template, they’ll be redirected to the link you set when you created that page or post.
The second method is by creating some HTML code called an iFrame, then loading the affiliate link into the iFrame. The result is that your affililate link appears to stay on your domain. Which method you use really depends on your preference – the end result is the same.
How it works as a sales page:
The Ultimate Sales-Cloaker Template is already built to be an easy to use sales page right out of the box, so you can immediately concentrate on writing your sales copy. Just check out the sweet looking default look and feel of the template:

Downright sexy, ain’t it? But, but, but I don’t like grey backgrounds, and it needs to be narrower, and it really could use a cool background and a better border around the content. And what about a header graphic?!
Calm down, Grasshopper. The Ultimate Sales-Cloaker Template has you covered. We’ve made this template flexible so that you can change the look of the sales page however you like, all from the WordPress page editor.
The template has 15 custom fields available so that you can change backgrounds, add header images, and do as much or as little with the template as you please. Just check out what can be accomplished with the addition of just four custom fields:

Pretty cool, right? I know! This template should be the last sales page you’ll ever need. Why pay $27, or even up to $47 for sales page themes that limit your site? Download the Ultimate Sales-Cloaker Theme for nuthin’!

1. Does it cookie stuff?
2. Are there tutorials or instructions anywhere?
3. What if I just want to use it as a salespage sometimes and NOT cloak links. Will it play nice?
Thanks,
ken
1. Yes! However, it does a very simple, image based cookie stuff. I’d suggest using my affiliate cookie stuffer plugin with the page. you can download that here: http://www.affiliatetechhelp.com/wordpress/lab/
2. No videos just yet – they’re in the queue! In the meantime, you can check out the extensive manual I included in PDF format.
3. Absolutely it will. The page uses 15 custom fields for customizing the look and feel of the page directly, and will even allow you to include custom CSS if you like. Since it’s a page template, it works seemlessly with your exisitng theme, whatever it may be.
One more question:
Is Google happier with iframe redirect rather than simple redirect, or does it matter?
Google will see an iFrame as a separate page, so it will index that page as well. What I did with the iFrame is hide the content of the page and still show the iFrame. So if you create sales content that’s keyword loaded, the google bot should crawl your content.
Is it true what they say,”when you sign up for free that there is catch behind it. I was told that by a person who had his commission stolen with a similar incident like this, he signed up for a free cloaking software and that person in charge was stealing his commissions right under his nose. Please do not get me wrong, I am not accusing you of anything but my friend advised me to be careful that’s all.
P.S- What is the website to sign up.
Thanks
Dennis
Nope, no catch. If you cloak a link with the Ultimate Cloaker, we don’t have any “commission stealing” code in there. the code you copy, paste and save on your server is it – nothing extra added!
I downloaded the plugin zip file and install it, but it tells me… “The plugin does not have a valid header.” Do you think something is screwed up in the .zip file?
Marius,
Sorry, it’s not a plugin, but a page template. You’d need to unzip the file and load the php file to your current theme folder. Once it’s there, you can select the template when yuou’re editing your pages. Hope that helps!
Hi Marius
Whilst I am not surprised that some folks may be a little hesitant, or even suspicious (given the ‘dog-eat-dog’ world that affiliate sales can be sometimes) this is, in fact, a great little ‘gift’ and very helpful for those of us who use WP a lot for various affiliate product and offer based sites.
I really appreciate your effort and generosity in providing this WP page template as it provides an extra dimension for my sites that I was aggravated at potentially having to pay for via other sources! ;D
Thanks again

You said above you upload the file to your theme folder. Will you then find it under “themes” when you set up your wordpress site?? Where exactly do you find the theme and how do you then use it? I’m a newbie to this so sorry if my question seems basic.
Brenda,
Once you’ve uploaded the template to your themes folder, you’ll find it under the page type/template option in the right side of your page editor. From there, you can set the template to the sales page template.
